QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• A valid New Mexico Public Education Department Secondary (6-12) Teaching License w/ Health Endorsement  or K-12 Specialty Area Teaching License w/Health endorsement
• A demonstrated philosophy that all students can and will learn
• Excellent attendance record
• Excellent communication skills- oral and written
• Positive interpersonal skills
• Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience
• Evidence of the willingness and the ability to comply with the standards for ethical and professional performance established by the Board of Education
• Exhibit skills to foster positive human relationships and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community
• Dedication to a continuous effort to provide a quality education

REPORTS TO:  Building Principal

WORK SCHEDULE:  184 Day Contract
